RICHARD SKOPAL

Richard is a highly experienced property lawyer and the Founding Partner of Gibson Law. With more than 20 years in the industry, he advises clients on a broad range of property matters, including complex transactions, development projects, and leasing law across all property asset class.

MARCO MADZZAR
PARTNER
Marco is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fundraisings for public and private companies, shareholder disputes, corporate governance, tax, restructuring and share equity plans. He acts for a range of private and public entities across a range of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, IT, health science, retail and financial services.
In addition to his corporate transactional capabilities, Marco’s practice has a specialist corporate advisory focus. He regularly advises founders on their capital structure and governance rules prior to raising capital and is a trusted adviser to boards and executives of private entities on a range of corporate issues including exit events, capital raisings, founder remuneration, employee share plans and general governance matters.
Marco also advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters including business divestments, IP licensing, supply and distribution agreements, corporate governance documents and shareholder agreements.
Marco has previously worked at a major global law firm and multi-disciplinary professional services firm where he advised on a number of high- profile transactions for both ASX listed entities and large private and unlisted public companies.
Marco has also worked at one of the big 4 accounting firms in the indirect tax team where he provided general tax advice, assistance with cross border transactions, undertook tax due diligence and advised on tax disputes.
